The Lazy Man's Way to Write More Keyword-Rich Marketing Articles

A Ruth Barringham article

When it comes to earning money online, using the right keywords can be the difference between success and failure. This is because you need to be found online and keywords are a way to do it.

But finding the right keywords can be time-consuming so what you need is an easy way to take just one keyword and get more results.

One of the easiest and fastest ways I discovered to do this, is by taking one article and re-writing it in different ways.

For instance, you could write a straight-forward article, and then rewrite it as a question that you're answering, and as any writer will tell you, answering a question is much easier than writing about something from scratch.

Done correctly, it's possible to take one basic article and rewrite it several times and in such a way that you end up with all of them being unique, and all based on the same keyword.

And if you can write each one seven different ways, it can provide you with seven different search results from seven unique articles, which is seven-times more powerful than writing just one article for each keyword.

It can be even better if you're using long-tail keywords because even though they produce less search results, they're more targeted. They also give you much better chances of getting on the first page results.

Let's look at an example.

If you're using the words Converse Shoes, that's good if that's what you're selling. But using Women's Converse Shoes would be even better. And you can get more targeted results with Women's White Converse Shoes, because not all your customers will be women or want white shoes, so it's better to target those who are, if that's who you're looking for. This is laser targeting.

And it can be easier and faster if you can write each keyword-rich article in seven different ways for seven-times the results without seven-times the work.

One of the things I know for sure is that when it comes to working online, time really is money, that's why I perfected my unique system of writing my online articles in different ways and all with less effort than writing them all separately.

And because I can write an article in 15 minutes or less, it has vastly improved my search engine results, increased my website visitor numbers and created more sales.

All it takes is practice and you can do the same.

Find out how to make article marketing fast and effortless with the complete 15 Minute Article Writing System which will not only show you how to write an article in just 15 minutes or less, but how to write each article 7 different ways PLUS 10 ways to earn money writing articles. https://ruthiswriting.com/books/15.html

7 Reasons To Publish Content On LinkedIn

  1. It helps keep you top of mind within your LinkedIn network.
  2. Your content provides more value to your network. For instance, posts offering free advice, tips or information on industry trends are often useful or valuable to your network.
  3. It allows you to share your expertise, insights, technical or industry knowledge with a broader audience.
  4. It helps to amplify your blog content to a wider audience and can help drive traffic back to your website, but be sure to use URL links within your posts to help people navigate back to your website.

  7. Your network can share your LinkedIn post and this opens up your content to a wider audience.
When thinking about LinkedIn Marketing and more specifically the types of posts you should write, remember to ask yourself;

  • What do I want to be known for?
  • What sorts of challenges and desires do my ideal customers have?
  • Then write your posts using key messages that show you understand these challenges, or desires and that you can help provide a good solution.
Following this strategy with help you to better connect with your target customers and build rapport.

LinkedIn Marketing - Build Your Network

LinkedIn has a powerful built-in search function hat you can use to help you identify new contacts. The main question you should answer is - who are the professionals and potential customers you'd like to connect to? Once you have defined your ideal connections, use the search function and LinkedIn filters to locate connections based on items such as job title, industry and location.

When you 'connect' with someone on LinkedIn make sure you add a note to personalise your request. It is very important to personalise your connection requests, try to use a message that shows the context and the relevance of connecting. For instance, comment on why it might be a good idea to connect, perhaps you are in complimentary industries. Maybe you found a recent post that they wrote interesting, or you might mention something that you have in common. Referring to shared contacts within your networks is also a good place to start, as we are more likely to connect with people we have common connections with.

Get started today, start posting valuable content and growing your network.

Also, if you upload high quality material, other organisations will want to connect to your site, which even more expands your target market. And also, these "back links" are great for your site's SEO. Intend to rate greater? Backlinks are a significant part of getting you there.

Content Marketing Reason # 5 - Attract Your Target Customer

Yes, the function of content marketing and marketing in general is to bring in leads, yet you do not want unqualified leads or tire kickers that never in fact employ you. Rather, you wish to attract your target customer, your perfect client, so that you don't waste time or power with the incorrect people. Follow These 5 Top Content Marketing Strategies, Generate More Leads!

When it comes to putting money into marketing their are many theories about the investment versus the return. In this article Sanjay Kumar Pandey considers the free options

What is your strategy for generating leads? Paid, organic or a combination?

Digital Marketing experts employ many path-breaking strategies to generate leads and improve business. While some of them are paid ones, some of them aren't.

Many industry experts claim that paid marketing fetches better results and is faster as well.

Is it true?

No!

Free Digital Marketing strategies--if followed rightly--can fetch better results and generate higher leads.

For example, let's take the case of Content Marketing!

It's 3 times more effective, vis-à-vis paid search. It's far less costly as well. Besides, you don't have to proffer freebies and discount codes for e-mail and other important details of your prospects & visitors. In addition, it's easy to start, and much more popular with clients.

No wonder, as high as 88% of the B2B marketers rely on the Content Marketing tool even while as high as 96% of the first-time visitors don't buy your products, or use your services straightway, without, at first, checking-out competition, and discovering which brands suit them the most.

Now the important question: what exactly Content Marketing is?

It's a kind of marketing that requires you to generate and share valued, appropriate, and consistent online content, through videos, webinars, blogs, social media posts, and infographics. Though these don't openly promote a brand, these DO--in many cases--arouse interest in your products and/or services.

The goal behind Content Marketing remains to entice and retain a clearly defined readers - and, eventually, to spur gainful customer action.

Content Marketing: What strategies to follow for lead generation?

Follow these 5 proven strategies for a highly effective lead generation exercise:

1. Build social reputation: Publish long and well researched content to emerge as an industry leader, and enjoy a good reputation in your niche. Posting and sharing bigger, braver and bolder content will help you win trust and draw potential customers and niche audiences towards your brand. To build and grow your social reputation, take the help of the different popular social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook. Social media will help you locate your community, promote better relationships, and build a society you may trust. Going social will also make your brand become more personal and powerful.

2. Publish appropriate and right content: With right pages, carrying relevant right content, you can target the right audiences and prospects, and motivate them to share their personal details, including e-mail and phone numbers.

3. Provide useful content in exchange for vital statistics: Carry in-depth and appropriate content but don't reveal complete content, if your readers are unwilling to provide their e-mail ids or phone numbers. For this, though, you will have to publish highly engaging and effective content. If your content isn't interesting or useful enough, your readers won't read it further, and not share the data either which you could be seeking for lead generation.

4. Connect with your readers on an emotional level: Trigger your readers' and prospects' emotions, through engaging content, and the right timing. If you manage to do so, they will do what you may want them to do, and respond to your Call to Action (CTA).

5. Get them to speak: Inspire your readers and prospects to like and share your pages, and post comments on them as well. When your targeted groups get involved--through shares, likes and comments--your posts will not only become viral, you will also get useful data. You will learn about their age brackets, social & economic backgrounds, expenditure, etc.

Summing-up, follow these 5 most important Content Marketing Strategies, and generate more business leads online!

6 Tips for Writing Conversational Content

You've got your strategy? Great!
You know your market? Great!

How do you communicate to them?  Read on to see Susan Regier's great tips

When it comes to marketing, conversational copywriting is essential.

The outdated formal business communication is just that - outdated. Big words. Confusing sentences. Not only does it make the content challenging to read, but all too often, the reader loses interest before getting to the end of the first paragraph.

Conversational copywriting resonates with your audience because your message reads as if it comes from a friend. It reads like you're having a cozy conversation over a cup of coffee in a neighbourhood café - but more compelling.

Here are 6 tips to ensure your content sounds conversational.

#1 Keep it short.

Less is more when it comes to your content. Small words. Short sentences. Short paragraphs. And yes, this will take more time to write.

I always chuckle when someone hiring me says, "I don't need much content. It shouldn't take you long to write."

In reality, writing less takes more time. Paring a page of content down to a couple of paragraphs, while maintaining the essence to get your meaning across, takes time and practice.

#2 Be real.

Nothing is more annoying than clicking on a line of content expecting one thing and finding out you've been duped. This can destroy your brand.

Likewise, get rid of the fluff, the overused clichés, platitudes, buzzwords, and hype. It's not believable and screams that you're trying to sell them. Consumers don't want to be sold to - they want to be educated. Instead, let them know "why" they need your stuff. Get to the heart of the issue - the emotional core.

#3 Write like you talk - but better.

In a face-to-face conversation, you use facial expressions and hand gestures to get your point across. When writing your content, you must convey the emotion in a more concise and structured way.

Eliminate "wishy-washy" words (really, usually, just, very). Cut unnecessary repetitions. Use strong nouns and verbs. Be bold. Be specific.

#4 Share stories.

We're naturally captivated by stories. Good stories touch both the emotional and the logical parts of the brain and can convince your reader that your offering is the perfect choice for their needs - especially if your potential clients can see themselves in your story.

Share your story. And share stories about your customers and their experiences working with you or using your products.

#5 Use emotion.

It's vital that you know what emotional triggers resonate with your audience. What questions do they have? After all, you're getting the conversation started as they read your content.

Address each of their concerns in your content, so you don't leave them hanging and wondering what you're not telling them. If there's a huge concern that's relevant to your industry, address it immediately. You could even stand apart from your competitors if you take charge of that issue and create the solution.

#6 Apply these conversational techniques.

Use contractions, such as "you're" and "they're" instead of "you are" and "they are."
Talk directly to the reader by using the word "you" often instead of talking about your business. Read your content to ensure the use of "I," "we," "me," and "us" is limited.
Ask questions - remember, it's conversational, so questions engage the reader. But don't include a long list of questions - one or two is enough.
To check if your content sounds conversational, read it out loud. If not, go back and simplify your sentences.

Give 'em a Taste (and they'll likely come back for more)

Give 'em a Taste (and they'll likely come back for more)
By: Alicia Forest

I'm sure many of you are familiar with the original ice cream shop that offers you a taste of any flavor ice cream you want before you make your decision on which scoop you are going to enjoy.

Giving you a taste (or as many tastes of different flavors as you'd like) is a brilliant way to ensure that you not only order a cone at that moment, but it's also a way to bring you back to try more flavors on another day.

You can use this brilliant marketing strategy in building your business, too. Offering your prospects a taste of what it is that you provide is a proven and easy way to get people to become part of your community, and part of your marketing/product funnel (the funnel is the "journey" (that builds a relationship over time) that your clients follow from the first visit to your website, where they enter by giving you their contact information, down through each level as they make their way through each purchasing step in the funnel). By offering them a sample, you're giving them an opportunity to get to know you without risking anything more than perhaps a bit of time.

In your marketing/product funnel, the taste you are giving your potential clients is at the top of the funnel, the widest part. The taste is your freebie/complimentary/gift offering and is your first (and usually only!) opportunity to engage your prospect. Your taste needs to be something of value that you offer for free to people who visit your website in exchange for their contact information, usually their name and email address.

This is often one of the most overlooked steps in building an online business. A prospect needs to see your message many times (it ranges anywhere from 5-10) before they will feel confident enough to risk handing over their money to you. In order to build a relationship with people you need to be able to contact them again, which means your goal is to capture their email address before they click away from your website.

If they leave, it's unlikely that they will come back, so don't lose the opportunity to welcome them into your community, your funnel. They landed at your website because they were looking for something (usually a solution to a problem they are having, right? :)). Give them a taste of the solution you offer. And remember to make it easy for them: make your sign-up form or email so obvious that they'd have to trip over it not to notice it (yes, that includes pop-ups and the like, because even if they annoy you as much as they do me, they work!).

So, what can you offer of value in exchange for their email address? A newsletter, an ecourse, an audio clip, or a special report, are all good options. Personally, I like the offer of an ecourse AND an ezine. You give them a taste of what your services are like with the ecourse, and then you keep in touch with them on a regular basis with the ezine. The ezine allows you to build a bond with your readers in a uniquely personal way, letting them get to know, like and trust you over time, with you having to build that bond one-on-one.

So, one caution is to not offer any one-on-one interaction with you at this level. You want to leverage your time, and offering free consultations or one-time meetings with you is not a good use of your time. Let them get to know you over the course of your freebie offering. When and if they become serious about you and your products or services, they will move further down the funnel (from free to fee) without you having to "sell" them on what you provide during a complimentary session (how nice is that?).

So what is your taste going to be? Here are some other ideas:

Write a Top Ten article about the benefits of your products and services, convert it to a PDF file, and offer it as a special report.
Record a short audio about the three key things your niche needs to know about X.
Create a mini ecourse that encompasses the five steps to getting started for your market.
or Create a quick-start guide that helps your market focus on how to get started.

Once you've given them a taste, they will likely come back for more, eventually turning from a prospect to a client. Creating a taste of what you provide is easy and it's fun. Try it and watch what happens!

Top Five Reasons to do a Website Redesign

Top Five Reasons to do a Website Redesign
By: Stephanie Diamond

Small business owners need to monitor whether their investment in a website is providing a good return.  Are your products and services easy to buy?  If they aren't, you are wasting time and money and probably doing more harm than good.

Ask yourself the following five questions to see whether it's time for a redesign:

Has the size of the site grown substantially?
If your site continues to grow and change like most business sites, you need to evaluate whether it's still meeting your objectives. As you add new products and services you need to re-organize your information.  In addition, you should consider adding multimedia information (audio, video) to sharpen your message.

Is some of the content outdated or unnecessary?
Does your website have up-to-date content?  Someone should be revising spec sheets, changing promotion dates and adding new material weekly.  If your website appears static, it looks like you're not a serious business.

Is the most important content buried below?
Here's where you need to do an "easy to buy" audit.  By that I mean you need to evaluate how easy it is to find information and actually buy your products.  This sounds like common sense, but we've all purchased online and know that it can sometimes be frustrating.

Are you using the latest technology, instead of hard-coding?
If you created your website more than 18 months ago, you are probably due for a technology update.  This is also true if you started with a very basic site and "hard-coded" everything.  Ask your webmaster whether he has some suggestions.  You can be sure he will.

Does the home page design suit your current business objectives?
Does your website communicate the depth and breadth of your current business?  If you have changed the focus of your services, added new products or want to communicate a different face to your visitors, consider a redesign for your overall website.

Why Is Website Traffic Important For My Business?

Creating your own website for business expansion is the best idea. It increases the business reputation and online visibility as well. To get success, individuals need to focus on an important factor and it is website traffic. Without traffic, you cannot experience a single benefit of having a website.

Website Traffic - An introduction

Number of people that are visiting the website or pages can be considered as the website traffic. The stats of traffic change with the length of time that is spent by them on a single page or complete website. It can help you in estimating the website’s popularity and some other major elements.

Importance Of Website Traffic

From a business point of view, website traffic is the only way to get success in achieving the objectives. Traffic depends on several factors such as - impressiveness of the website, information availability, public interest, and so on. The following facts will help you in understanding its importance.
  • Having more traffic on the website will help you in generating more conversions and earn revenue.
  • By getting traffic and impressing the visitors, you can hold a good reputation in the market. With it, the satisfied visitors will love to recommend you to others. It leads to referral promotions.
  • If the visitors are spending lots of time on the website, then the chances of getting conversions are higher such as - subscribing newsletter, accessing promotional content, and so on. It helps in establishing a long term relationship with the visitors.
It is important to get more traffic on the website. For more traffic, you need to be focused on some specific practices like - magnificent website design, search engine optimisation, paid marketing, and so on.

Terms Related To Website Traffic

Some people are getting confused when it comes to analyse website traffic and its measurements. For understanding these things, you should have knowledge about some basic terms. Here, we are going to explain the major ones.

Page views:
Activity of a web browser defines the page views. If your website loads by a browser, then it is counted as a page view. In case anyone is going to reload your website, then it turns to two page views. Pageviews are useful in getting some ideas regarding the behaviour of visitors. Here, Google Analytics is the best source for tracking all these stats perfectly.

Visits:
When a visitor accesses your website, then it is counted as a visit. If the same visitor accesses different pages of websites, then it cannot affect the count. Count remains one. Due to it, you can see a big difference between the metrics of page views and visits.

Sessions:
A specific period of time that is spent by an individual on the website considered as a session. It completely represents website engagement. Screen views, events, and some other factors are affecting session metrics.
